Opting to Switch
More non-residential consumers will soon be eligible for retail contestability and this brings good news as they can look forward to more benefits through a choice in electricity retailer, enhanced service standards and greater product diversity to suit their energy needs.
After learning more of the developments and changes in market deregulation, over 600 businesses have switched to private electricity retailers since May 2013 – of which slightly more than a third has chosen Seraya Energy as its preferred electricity retailer.
Come April 2014, this number is expected to increase as consumers’ contestability threshold will be lowered to 8,000 kWh to enable them to be eligible for retail contestability. This threshold level will subsequently be lowered again to 4,000 kWh on 1 October 2014.
For a limited period, Seraya Energy is offering $300 shopping vouchers as part of its Customer Referral Programme.
From now till 30 June 2014, if you know of any business associates who may meet the new contestability threshold or have multiple electricity accounts at different locations in Singapore, refer them to us. If your contact switches to Seraya Energy, you will receive $300 shopping vouchers. Visit http://www.serayaenergy.com.sg/refer-a-customer to register.
