‘Pay Less for Electricity’ Seminar

Article-3 In May 2014, Seraya Energy organised an educational seminar for consumers who became eligible for contestability under the new liberalisation rule which took effect in April 2014. The seminar aimed to update them on the liberation of the Singapore Electricity Market and the choices they can make towards electricity purchases. Tips on energy savings were shared during the seminar and participants also learnt more about what to look out for in an electricity contract.

The seminar attracted a better turnout than expected. At the end of the session, more than 10 companies had signed up where five of them walked away with an attractive sign-up gift.

Also, with more than 40 new customers that month, Seraya Energy is encouraged that more eligible consumers have been able to see the benefits and value that the company can bring them through its suite of electricity price plans and solutions.
